Police Commissioner in Lagos directed detectives of the Homicide Section of the State CID to ensure speedy and diligent investigation

Lagos State Police Command Spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has confirmed that the security agency has begun investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of one Anosikwa Patrick, who was allegedly stabbed by a police officer.
He made this known to journalists recently, while stating that the incident occurred on Saturday at the Skymall shopping mall in the Ajah axis of Lagos state
Hundeyin went on to say the manager and chief security officer of the mall are in custody and assisting with the investigation.

He further assured that justice will be served, saying the Commissioner of Police in the state, Adegoke Fayoade, had directed detectives of the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department to ensure speedy and diligent investigation toward ensuring that the culprit was brought to book.
While confirming the incident, Hundeyin said: “The police officer has been identified as Inspr Taofeek, a member of visiting 12 PMF squadron to Lagos.
“The members of the public shall be kept abreast of the investigation as it progresses.”
