Police brutalise Arise TV cameraman while covering #EndSARS protest in Abuja

A journalist (cameraman) with Arise TV, Francis Ogbonna, covering the #EndSars protest on Sunday in Abuja was attacked by Nigerian police officers.

He was attacked shortly after the announcement of the dissolution of Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) by the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu.

The journalist was conducting interviews on the reaction of Nigerians on the disbandment of the special squad.

Ogbonna sustained a deep cut on his head with  bruises all over his body and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
