Plateau gov Mutfwang sacks five commissioners

Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has relieved five commissioners of their duties.
Two among the commissioners were recently recalled from suspension.
The governor also announced five persons nominated to be commissioners.

A letter from the office of the Secretary to the Plateau State Government, Samuel Jatau, named those disengaged as Sule Haruna (Commerce and Industry); Obed Nanjul (Science and Technology); Noel Nkup (Youths and Sports Development); Chrysantus Dawan (Budget and Economic Planning); Jamila Tukur (Tourism, Culture and Hospitality).
Chrysanthus and Tukur’s sack came barely three months after they were recalled from suspension.
The letter named the new Commissioner-nominees as Sunday Akpan from Bassa Local Government Area; Joyce Ramnap, Langtang South; Sylvanus Dongtoe, Shendam; Dr Nicholas Baamlong, Quaapan and Cornelius Doeyok also from Quaapan LGA.
