Don’t waste the resources God has deposited in you
All forms of slavery begin in the physical before translating to other forms. Let us stop believing that the foundation of our problems are demonic, witchcraft or from an evil world, when we are the very cause of our problem.
Israel went into slavery for 400 years because God declared it long to their forefather, Abraham, in Genesis 15:11-14, that a time will come when his descendants will go into slavery in strange land.
That was predicted and it happened. The sojourn of the Israelites in Egypt was a divine plan.
And when it was time for God to deliver them, he raised Moses as a deliverer.
Israel left Egypt physically by the mighty hand of God, but the slavery mentality they were used to left with them. Can you imagine that with all the great miracles witnessed by Israel for them to be saved from the hands of their enemies, they still didn’t believe God? They exhibited slavery mentality in the wilderness by murmuring and complaining about every little challenge that came their way. They still preferred the onions and cucumbers of Egypt to the precious manna they were being fed with in the wilderness. No wonder many of them could not make it to the Promise land, except Caleb and Joshua.
As Christians, many of us have literally enslaved ourselves because we prefer mundane things we see around us to the divine plan of God for our lives. Some of us deliberately put ourselves in slavery. What do we say of many Africans, especially Nigerians, who are obsessed with travelling abroad, not minding whether it is God’s plan for their lives? Many Nigerians, who were making waves here on the average, sold all they had here and travelled abroad. Today, they are now slaves to their decisions because many of them are ashamed to come home, having seen that they could not achieve anything over there.
Awake from your sleep and slumber you lazy folks and get serious about your life.
What don’t we say of those staying with their friends or relatives and refuse to be independent because they are afraid to take up responsibility for their lives. There are still men and women who are still faulty at 40 years of age. Living with people? They prefer the free accommodation, feeding and clothing to the realisation of their God-given potential. Such people will not leave unless they are sent away, disgraced and humiliated.

Every satanic chain of retrogression, be broken in Jesus name.
I break every borrowed shackles of slavery. Lord, deliver me from the chains of stubborn slave masters.
Every inherited seed of slavery in my life, jump out by fire and thunder. Lord, deliver me from every spirit of servitude in the name of Jesus.
Oh Lord, let every door shut against my deliverance be shattered into pieces.
I destroy every power subjecting my life and destiny to slavery in Jesus name.
