Lagos commercial bus popularly referred to as ‘Danfo’ has had a head-on collision with a Toyota Hiace bus at the Otedola Bridge end of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The driver was said to be driving on one-way and was moving at top speed and recklessly.
This is coming less than 24 hours after a fully-loaded fuel tanker spilt its content on the road, burning at least 54 vehicles and claiming a minimum of nine lives at almost the same spot.
At least 20 people were injured in the accident as buses have also been removed from the road.
