On Easter Sunday, former governor of Anambra State and presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Peter Obi, and his wife, Margaret, gave out the hand of their daughter, Amaka, in marriage to her heartthrob, Chukwuma Ojiudu, son of Chief Echezona Anthony Okeke-Ojiudu and Lady Rebecca Ojiudu, in his hometown of Agulu, Anaocha LGA, Anambra State.
He was joined at the traditional wedding by a fellow presidential aspirant, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa, and his wife, Lady Stella Omude Ohuabunwa, who came to share the joy of the day with the bride and bridegroom and their parents.
Southeast politicians hitherto derided, falsely though, as not being capable of speaking with one voice politically, are ticking all the right boxes this election cycle.

Politics without bitterness is the name of the game.
For Obi, the task ahead goes beyond winning the presidency. Nigeria, he reckons, is on the edge and requires unusual measures to pull it from tipping over. He said: “Our country is now going through a difficult time. I am not desperate to be a President; I am desperate to see a better Nigeria.”
His many years in business during which he has chaired corporations in the country, including the Security and Exchange Commission, SEC and so many quoted companies, capping it with resounding success as a governor, give him robust insight into the state of affairs in the country.
It is a crisis situation, he declared, warning that the country cannot continue like this, without getting crashed.
