Ace Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye, of the P-square music group, has taken to social media to defend Hiba Abouk, ex-wife of PSG defender, Achraf Hakimi, after their divorce saga.
Several media outfits on Friday, April 14, reported that the Spanish actress took her ex-husband, Hakimi to court and demanded more than half of his fortune as a divorce settlement.
Hiba Abouk, however, found out in court that the PSG star has no assets as he had put his entire fortune under his mother’s name a long time ago.

Reacting to the judgement, several netizens, particularly men, hailed the Moroccan international, saying he made the best move.
But Afrobeat singer, Peter Okoye, disagreed and took to his Twitter handle to counter their assertion, saying they should have married if they did not trust their wives.
He tweeted: “Like I don’t get it. The truth is bitter but needs to be told. If you don’t trust her, then don’t marry as simple as that. Or are you expecting your wife to suffer after a divorce?”
He went on to remind those supporting Hakimi’s action that their mothers were once someone’s wives before they gave birth to them and become a mother
The singer then suggested that men supporting the move should have married their mother instead of their wives.
“Remember! The one you trusted with all your property in the name of Mother was once your father’s wife. #HakimiDivorce.
“The mother u are clamoring about was/is also somebody’s wife at some point, before she became his mother. What if she was treated the same way? Pls, Marry your Mother! EOS.
“Make all of una go marry una Mama!… no time! Since Hakimi sense wan ki una,” he further said.
