Leo Edochie, the eldest son of veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie, is seeking the arrest of the TikToker who posted rumours of his father’s death, stating that he has contacted the Department of State Services (DSS) regarding the matter.
He made the announcement on Thursday night in a now-viral post shared on his Instagram page.
Leo had earlier debunked reports concerning the actor’s death via a statement shared on social media on behalf of the family.
Speaking in a video shared on Instagram, Leo said: “I’ve been receiving text messages and calls over the nonsense post by some people claiming that our father, Chief Pete Edochie, is dead. It is a lie from the pit of hell.
“Our father is alive, hale, and hearty. If you wish someone dead, two things usually happen: the person will live a very long life and you will die before him. Shame to all of you.”

However, in his latest post, Leo noted that he has contacted the DSS to facilitate the arrest of the TikToker who falsely announced his father’s demise.
He proceeded to announce a reward for anyone with useful information that could aid the arrest.
Sharing a photo of the individual in question, Leo wrote: “This young man posted a video on TikTok claiming our father is dead. His handle is @ONE_BOR 001.
“Anyone with information that leads to his arrest will be handsomely rewarded in cash. I have contacted the DSS and they are on his trail.
“DM me with the information; as soon as he is arrested, you will receive your reward in cash.”
