Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, better known as Peruzzi, has claimed someone planted a fetish item in his jacket while he was staying at Davido’s house in Lagos.
The 34 year old artiste who was signed to the ‘Electricity’ crooner’s record label boss at that time, made this known while speaking on the latest episode of the Zero Conditions podcast.
According to him, he reached out for his jacket in the wardrobe one evening after a shower and a fetish item fell from the cloth.
He went on to say the “juju” was meant to harm him but lost its potency because his “head is strong”.

Peruzzi recounting the incident said: “While I was staying at Davido’s house, one evening I took a shower and then went to the wardrobe to dress, I wore my shirt and pants. And then one jacket was just telling me, ‘Wear me, wear me.’
“I don’t know how to explain this but I carried the jacket and while I was trying to wear it, something fell and I looked I saw jazz tied and everything. Juju, better juju in my room in a jacket that just came from the laundry. Na say my head strong na e make I see am.”
He further said he moved out of Davido’s house when his partner, Chioma got pregnant with their late son, Ifeanyi.
Peruzzi, however, said he didn’t tell Davido about the incident before leaving, adding that his late associate, Obama DMW, popularly known as 44, knew about it.
