Pere Egbi, BBNaija star, joins ‘The Men’s Club’ web series

Pere Egbi has landed a new acting role after his BBNaija season 6 exploits, as he replaces Ayoola Ayoola in ‘The Men’s Club’ web series

Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye’s second runner-up Pere Egbi, popularly known as Pere, has landed a new acting role in a web series.

He will now replace Ayoola Ayolola, a versatile Nollywood actor, who played the role of Aminu Garba, in the popular Nigerian web series, The Men’s Club.

Pere had earlier hinted at the new role on Sunday when he shared a post on his verified Instagram page saying: “It’s on! Meet Aminu. The Men’s Club!”

Aminu Garba, one of the main characters in the series,  is the rich, hot, and handsome businessman played by Ayoola Ayolola in the Men’s Club series.

The announcement was made public by the series director, Tolu Odunsi, In a post on his Instagram page today, Monday, November 8, 2021.

According to him, Ayoola will no longer be part of the crew of the series because he won’t be physically available to join other casts at the location. 

He also said the Nollywood Actor, has, therefore, been replaced with the BBNaija reality star, Pere Egbi. 

The announcement read: “Unfortunately our beloved Ayoola is unavailable indefinitely to physically record with his co TMC cast at the location.

“It is on this note we welcome the brilliant actor Pere to the TMC family as Aminu Garba, we ask that you, our extended TMC family, open your hearts and minds to welcome the new member of our family. As always we will deliver amazing world-class content.” 

Pere Egbi is not new to the Nollywood setting, as he has participated in other movies in the past, the web series, however, seems like a new challenge for the American-based actor.
