Scholes, Gerrard and Lampard,  during their playing careers played for Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea respectively, with each making their marks at their respective clubs.

The three ex-English midfielders while at these clubs, won almost everything in club football, although Gerrard could not win a Premier League title.

While fans are split on who is the greatest midfielder among the trio, they have not also been able to agree on which of the two, when played together, performed better for England.

“I love it. I think he had everything but the other two, come on, Frank and Steven Gerrard changed this. Paul Scholes is my favourite.”

Scholes played for United a total of 718 times, scoring 155 goals,  Gerrard on the other hand, netted 185 goals in all competitions for Liverpool, while Lampard scored 211 goals for West London club,  Chelsea.
