Popular actress, Peggy Ovire has disagreed with comedian and skit maker, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori better known as Kiekie.
The thespian who is married to another Nollywood actor opposed Kiekie’s view after she advised women to ensure they split bills with their husbands.
Kiekie had, during a recent interview with media personality, Toke Makinwa, insisted that she can’t stay in a house without paying rent as a married woman.

The comic actress, in a now-controversial video on social media, explained that sharing bills with one’s husband brings about respect, saying, “So that when we want to divorce, we will share everything equally.”
Taking to the comment section of the widely shared video, Ovire disagreed with her and argued that she would not pay rent with a man who could conveniently pay his rent because it’s his duty.
She went on to say, the comedienne was probably probably doing so because she earns more money than her husband.
She said: “Just say you earn more than your husband Kiekie, then bill sharing is a must. It is my husband’s responsibility to pay the bills especially since he can afford it.
“Mine is to take care of the home and be there for emergency cases. My man won’t even let me pay jack.”
