The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Organisation has appointed Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, as a member of the campaign council.
A notice signed by the Director-General of the Campaign Organisation, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, on Saturday said Adeleke was appointed as the Chairman of the South-West Coordinating Committee of the campaign council. According to Tambuwal, the appointments are with immediate effect.
Adeleke’s appointment comes as Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, who is seeking re-election, is yet to pledge support for Atiku’s ambition over his demands for the resignation of PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.

The organisation also appointed other top party figures to head strategic campaign offices to steer the Atiku Abubakar presidential bid.
Senator Dino Melaye was appointed the Director of Public Affairs.
