Ibadan, the Oyo state capital is said to be boiling following news of the death of a Lawmaker representing Lagelu/Akinyele federal constituency of Oyo State, Olatoye Sugar.
Olatoye was reportedly shot by thugs and was rushed to the University Teaching Hospital where he died.
Olatoye, who was also the Oyo Central senatorial district candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in the National Assembly election was attacked on his way from his village where he had gone to vote.
He was reportedly hit in the eye by the gunshot and was rushed to the University College Hospital, Ibadan.

Violence broke out in his area around 6pm with sporadic gunshots heard in the entire area.
