President, Living Faith Church, has asked his members to stay away from the ongoing trend, female revolution, and follow the old ways.
According to him, he said: ”if feminine revolution is your agenda, then, don’t attempt to get married because it will not work. Don’t join that club, follow the old ways,” he warns.
“If the old ways say wives submit yourselves unto your husband, as unto the Lord, Ephesians 5:22, then do so.
Keeping errors won’t help out,” he added, saying “I have a hitch-free marriage, following the old rugged crossway.”
Oyedepo disclosed this in a Sunday service while admonishing members to allow God to lead them in his teaching on understanding how God leads and following divine guidance.
Earlier at the week of Spiritual Emphasis, on Thursday, he asked his members to bring back their kids home that are schooling abroad without a guardian.
According to him, sending a child abroad without a guide is an anti covenant, and irresponsible. He urged parents to accept responsibilities, invest in them, and stop pampering adults.
”Carrying an adult at your back is not success. If you fail as a parent, you are a failure. You play careless, you will regret it tomorrow. Power is good, but, don’t play with life. Do not allow prosperity to shock you, I have enough to send all my children abroad, but, no. If your parents sent you outside when you were a kid, would you have been where you are today? Take responsibility as parents, don’t waste those destinies, God will ask you of them.
“I am saying this because I was called to be informed of a sixteen-year-old child without a degree, a result abroad. And the parent said they send him abroad at the age of three. I told them I can’t help out. I told the parents that they failed in their responsibility as a parent by sending a child outside without a guide,” Oyedepo explained.
Also, regarding the pastors that were sacked, Oyedepo gave reasons why they were sacked.
He said: ”keeping unprofitable servants makes you a poor manager. It’s a system. They are unprofitable, we had to let them go. It is sound management that brought us here. Some are saying it’s offering and the rest. They are unprofitable stewards. We sent them to rural churches, and they could not get ten people in six months, some places are closed. Never keep unprofitable stewards in your system.”
