Nigeria’s Super Falcons attacker Francisca Ordega has reiterated the readiness of the women football team to successfully defend the title in Morocco,

Despite suffering defeat in the opening group game, Super Falcons have bounced back strongly and show a strong desire to retain the title won in Ghana in 2018.

Ordega was in action on Thursday when Falcons defeated the Indomitable Lioness of Cameroon by a lone goal. While reacting to the game she said it was the easiest they played in Morocco.

She further fired a warning signal to their semi-final opponent Atlas Lioness of Morocco that they are prepared to win the trophy again.

“I think it’s one of the easiest games we’ve played though it might look tough for the fans but for we players is the easiest. The game was easy because we are familiar with them and opened and it was 50-50 but other teams are tough, especially the upcoming teams, we are used to Cameroon’s system,” she said.

“We’ve always played against everybody, the referees, stadium etc we are used to it and is not going to be different. We are happy we are going to play them in their country. In 2016 in Cameroon, they are all out for us but we took the trophy away from them and the same thing will happen here,” Ordega said
