Opeyemi Aiyeola joined Nollywood 24 years ago and got her first break in the movie industry when she starred in the Yoruba film ‘Aso Iye’

Nigerian actress and film producer, who is more popular among the Yoruba audience, Opeyemi Aiyeola has described her marriage as one that is not perfect as she penned an emotional message to her husband, Olayiwola Babatunde on their wedding anniversary.
The actress took to her Instagram page and revealed that the union had its challenges and there were moments of disagreements and huge fights that threatened the union.

She, however, said despite their imperfections, the love they share and their pursuit of togetherness made them survive the tough times.
She wrote, “We play so much yet have our moments of disagreements, huge fights and threats to our union just cos we’re 2 imperfect beings living in an imperfect world surrounded by imperfections working towards same goal of togetherness and individual happiness n love”
In January, Opeyemi Ayeola shared a video of herself via her Instagram page lying on a hospital bed and claimed she was battling an unknown illness after she was attacked by the devil.
The mother of two joined the Nigeria film Industry (Nollywood) in 1998 and got her first break when she starred in the Yoruba film “Aso Iye”, she has since acted in several movies.
