The wife of the governor of Ondo State, Betty Akeredolu, has said that the report of her being injured was fake.
Reports have indicated that the wife of the Ondo State Governor, Mrs Betty Akeredolu, was injured while three others were feared dead after security operatives allegedly belonging to her husband, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, invaded a polling unit in Owo.
In an interview with journalists, Mrs Akeredolu said the report was insane and a desperate attempt by the opposition to win the poll.
She then jockinly asked the journalists: “Or are you the ones that injured me.”
