Ondo NNPP holds state Congress

NNPP elects new chairman, Pastor Peter Olagookun, Secretary, Adekunle Oluwayomi, Women Leader, Ayugbo Patient, Treasurer, Comrade Ibrahim Shaibu and, Auditor Alhaji Oladele Abibu.

Amidst jubilation yesterday, the Ondo State chapter of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has held its State Congress at the Party Secretariat in Akure where New State (Exco) emerged by consensus.

At the NNPP state congress, the State INEC officials were duly presented to witness.

The Chairman of the Electoral Committee of NNPP, Chief Peter Kolade, read out the name of the new Exco which include the New Chairman Pastor Peter Olagookun, Sectary, Adekunle Oluwayomi, Women Leader, Ayugbo Patient, Treasurer, Comrade Ibrahim Shaibu and, Auditor Alhaji Oladele Abibu.

The new NNPP chairman in his vote of thanks on behalf of others Executives appreciates the presence of the members who turned out enmass for the Congress.

He appealed to all new Exco to be alive to their responsibility and promised to work for the progress of the Party and carry all Exco along in all its activities.

In his address, Hon, Seun Majasan, a Senatorial Hopeful for Ondo Central Senatorial District on the platform of the NNPP thanked all the members who came from the different senatorial districts of the state.

Majasan also commended the NNPP stakeholders at the Congress for their massive Goodwill towards his ambition for Senate in Ondo Central Senatorial District.

“The essence of a political party is to win the election and advance the cause of our environment. And I know this as we must put heads together to win election in the next general elections in Ondo state.

“We thank our new leaders in the state and I unequivocally thank you all for your uncommon commitment towards moving the party forward”, he added
