Olabimtan noted that Governor Akeredolu needs to be encouraged to continue the good job of developing the state and completing the projects he started three and a half years ago. He said it was the reason they were encouraging the governor by donating money for the purchase of his nomination form.

The donations came from political groups which included; Ibi Giga Ambassadors, Aketi Mandate Group, Women in politics group as well as 19 out of 26 members of the State lawmakers.

Also speaking on behalf of the groups, the Convener of Ibi Giga Ambassadors, Chief Alex Ajipe and the leader of Aketi Mandate Group, Hon Saka Ogunleye, expressed happiness that opposition had not accused Akeredolu of nonperformance.

They said political enemies only found joy in blackmailing which usually happened during electioneering period.

Ajipe said some of the projects of Akeredolu’s administration including Ondo-Linyi Industrial Hub, Ore as well as Ore Flyover, would not be forgotten by many generations yet unborn.
