Worried by the incessant kidnapping, killing and destruction of farm crops by Fulani Herdsmen at Ipele in Owo Local government area of Ondo State, the Vica/Archdeacon of St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Ipele, Venerable Olatunde Abiodun has said that the liberty of the people in the area is in Jesus Christ.

Abiodun who made this known at the burial of Madam Comfort Ayileka at Ipele lamented that the people of the area can no longer sleep with their two eyes closed because of the activities of the herdsmen in the area.

According to him, farmers are no longer going to farm to harvest their farm products now due to the fear of being kidnapped in their farms.

“It is time for us in this country to cry to God to set us free from this killer herdsmen who have turned Nigeria to a bloodletting country” the clergyman noted.

His words: “If we are going to clean this country and make it better, it must begin with you and me. It is rather unfortunate that the generation we are today, the unbelievers have become the mentor to the believers. Things must change, we must cry to God to deliver us and make the country to prosper,” he added.
