Former National Publicity Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olisa Metuh,  whose jail term of seven years was quashed by the Appeal Court has advised people to see the world as worthless and learn to always forgive others.

Recounting his ordeal during his trial and experience during his short stay in prison, Metuh said that he went through hell while in prison, added, however, that the experience has taught him to serve God.

The former PDP spokesman bared his experience and emotion while addressing members of the Party in Anambra on Wednesday during a reception organised for him by the party in Awka, Anambra State capital.

While appreciating God, Metuh said he would remain eternally grateful to God for preserving him, adding that he will dedicate the rest of his life to the service of God and mankind.

“I thank God for giving me the grace to see you again. God has shown me His mercy and love. I have been in the deepest ebb of life and God restored me.

“I have been with the devil and God saved me. I have decided to commit my life to serve God throughout the rest of my life. I saw hell while I was in prison, but God saved me. I learnt to be humble while in prison and to forgive people in life,” Olisa Metuh said.

He informed members of the party that there is nothing in this world that one needs to die for. He advised people to begin to see the world as worthless while urging them to always forgive others.

He urged the PDP in Anambra to be united and forget all the wrongs done by members.

“Let us not look into the wrong things done to us, rather we should look into the good things from our members and appreciate them. We must be united to win this November election in Anambra state,” he advised.

Welcoming Metuh at the PDP office in Awka, the State chairman of the party, Chief Ndubuisi Nwobu said that Metuh has passed through hell, noting that every great man must pass through challenges.
