The Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on political matters, Babafemi Ojudu, has withdrawn from the Ekiti state governorship race.
Ojudu was one of the aspirants in the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary held on Saturday but declared inconclusive due to violence.
He announced his withdrawal during a press conference on Thursday in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.
The APC had rescheduled the Ekiti governorship primary election.

Initially scheduled to take place on Friday, May 11, the primary has been shifted by a day – to Saturday, May 12, 2018.
