Ohuabunwa receives commendation on performance

Founder, Fountain of Joy Outreach Ministry and Public Relations Officer (PRO), Vote Okezie Again (VOA) Umuahia North, Abia State, Deacon Iheanyichukwu Echewodo, has applauded the empowerment project efforts of Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, the lawmaker representing Abia- North Senatorial zone.

He said that his projects were in tandem with his campaign promises.

Echewodo said that the senator, who has a record of proven competence and remarkable legacy, has continued to improve on record of performance.

According to him, Ohuabunwa has ensured that he puts smiles on the faces of his constituent, urging him not to relent.

Echewodo, who is also an activist, said that the senator has empowered many unemployed youths as well as women through his skill acquisition project.

He said the lawmaker has lived up to his constituency responsibilities by ensuring that federal projects were attracted in all areas of infrastructure and services spread to all the five LGAs of his constituency, especially towards providing for the health needs of the people.

“Senator Mao Ohuabunwa has lived to his promise. Not only that he has empowered many with his constituency projects on skill acquisition project but has also attracted federal projects on roads as well as on health,”    Echewodo told The Niche.

It would be recalled that Ohuabunwa on September empowered over 500 people including 250 widows and youths from the five local government areas of his senatorial district who had completed their Skill Acquisition Training programme for Abia North Women and Youths in Partnership with Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (SMEDAN) with support tools and 50, 000 capital to assist their choice of projects.

 

It would be recalled that Ohuabunwa has presented not less than 14 bills and 16 motions, and two of his bills had been signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari.
