Odaudu pledges better outing against Customs

-

Rivers Hoopers coach, Ogoh Odaudu, has promised to make up for the mistakes made against Nigeria Customs in the league opener in Lagos.

The KingsMen resumed the second round of the 2017/2018 Kwese Premier Basketball League with a home game against last season’s finalist, Nigeria Customs, on Thursday.

The Port Harcourt side ended the first round at the summit of the league table, winning 6 out of the 7 games played, with their only loss against Thursday’s Lagos based opponents, Customs on Match Day 1. The Hoopers have since maintained a winning sequence spanning six games going to the second round.

“If you were in Lagos with us you could see that it was because it was our first game that’s why we lost that game. We had no business throwing that game away. We will come out and work on all the mistakes we made in that. I think you will see a better game and hopefully run away with a victory,” Odaudu assured.
