A socio-cultural organisation, OBU Ohafia, has congratulated Dr Kalu Ulu Kalu over his appointment as Executive Secretary of Abia State Primary Health Care Agency.
The group also hailed the appointment of Chief Dr David Ogba Onuoha as the Mayor of
Ohafia Local Government Area, and for his first 100 days in office.
In two separate congratulatory statements signed by Chief Nnanna Ajike, President of
OBU Ohafia and Chief Nduka Nwosu, Secretary General of the association said the appointment of the two men is a significant boost to the ongoing development of Abia State.

The statement praising the appointment of Onuoha as Mayor of Ohafia LGA reads in part; “Your towering presence as the Mayor of Ohafia Local Government is already showing as the Secretariat has taken a new look with the construction and renovation works currently going on in the secretariat complex.
“As members of OBU Ohafia,we believe that your choice and appointment as Mayor of Ohafia was divine and you will bring your experience to bear in ensuring that Ohafia Local Government is elevated from its current status to being amongst high flying cities that can be compared with any other developed city in the world.”
On the appointment of Kalu as Executive Secretary of the Abia State Primary Health Care Agency, OBU Ohafia noted: “Your appointment is a testimony of your years of experience and the Governor’s confidence and belief that you will elevate primary health care in the State.”
The statements also commended the Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Chioma Otti for finding the two Abia sons worthy of overseeing the responsibilities entrusted in their care.
