Obi via a now-viral birthday message on his X handle, acknowledged that Davido has helped to grow many talents

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the February 25 presidential election, Peter Obi has praised ace singer and record label owner, David Adeleke aka Davido for his philanthropic gestures.
The “Electricity crooner” turned 31 on Tuesday, November 21, and many celebrities, fans, family, friends and notable politicians took to social media to celebrate him.
Joining the trend, the LP presidential candidate took to his X handle, formerly Twitter, to hail Davido and pray for him.
In a birthday message to the singer, Obi noted that aside from impacting Nigeria through music, he has helped nurture many talents in the music industry through his charity.

Speaking via his social media page, he tweeted: “My dear @davido (David Adedeji Adeleke), I rejoice and celebrate with you as you mark your birthday today. Through years of hard work, you have developed your musical talent, through which you have not only risen to fame but, through your charity work, helped many young talents grow in the industry.
“On your special day, I pray God to grant you more healthy and fruitful years and give you the grace to make more positive impacts on the nation.
“Happy birthday, Davido!”
