The Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Nigeria’s last general election, Mr. Peter Obi, has commended the former President Olusegun Obasanjo for his patriotism and sacrifice to the nation.
Obi, while congratulating the former president on his 83rd birthday on Thursday, said that history would be kind to Obasanjo for his contributions to the development of the country.
The former governor of Anambra State also commended the ex-president for his commitment to the unity of Nigeria and fairness to all region has remained exceptional and glaring. Obi prayed God to grant him more fruitful years ahead, especially as the country is going through enormous challenges that require the ideas of experienced elder-statesman like him.
