Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, has set tongues wagging on social media after sharing a cryptic message on Instagram.
This comes just a few days after a tense on-field clash involving Nwabali, Wilfred Ndidi, and Calvin Bassey during Nigeria’s 4-0 win over the Benin Republic in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State.
Victor Osimhen scored a hat-trick during the 2026 World Cup qualifier, as the Super Eagles secured a spot in the continental playoffs.
However, Nwabali was involved in brief incidents with his own teammates during the crucial encounter.
First, the Chippa United stopper pushed Ndidi, who tried to calm him down after he confronted a Benin player.
He was then seen arguing with Bassey at halftime, as the players trudged off the pitch.

Nwabali has now added a layer to the incident by sharing a cryptic message on social media.
Taking to his verified handle, he wrote, “I never fake care anyone.
“What I give, I give from my heart. Choose a good heart.
“People change so fast… I believe you VO9.”
After the controversial post made the rounds online, it elicited mixed reactions from Nigerians.
While some netizens argued he was only trying to explain his actions during the qualifier against Benin to Victor Osimhen, others urged the NFF to call him to order before he causes disharmony in the team.
