This is payback time for many Nigerians whom broadcaster, Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze mocked in 2019 for earning N35,000 and questioning the wealth of Hushpuppi on the social media.
Hushpuppi is now the subject of multiple investigations for allegedly stealing N169 billion from 1.9 million people around the world.
Freeze, had, in a visit to Dubai in October 2019, dinned with Hushpuppi in his palatial home, and took a tour of the massive house where all the interiors where provided by Versace.
Daddy Freeze also inspected Hushpuppi’s car park which some of the collections include Ferrari and Rolls Royce.
It was on the dinning table with Hushpuppi that Daddy Freeze mocked at those questioning the wealth of the man who is now suspected to have made all his money by allegedly duping people.
Daddy Freeze had said: “Hushpuppi’s driver earns N700,000 a month. You that is abusing him, you are working houseboy work and earning N35,000 a month. You will go on Instablog and abuse Hushpuppi. Instead make you beg Hushpuppi make he use your papa do driver, Your papa dey village, he no get work.”
In the Youtube video which Daddy Freeze posted, Hushpuppi also corroborated the claim. “The money my driver collects is almost near commissioner salary. He collects money pass local government chairman. My cleaner collects N250,000. Driver collects N700,000,” he said.
