Nigerians fire back at Pantami, ask if Buhari also loses appetite if non-Muslims are killed

-

By Ishaya Ibrahim, News Editor

Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, said President Muhammadu Buhari could not eat after learning that Muslim travellers were killed in Jos, Plateau state’s capital.

Pantami said: “The president had since directed that the perpetrators of the attack be fished out and prosecuted. He spoke with top military brass on the issue. He had just returned from a journey, and as matter of fact, the president could not even eat food.”

Some Nigerians have wondered if the president’s loss of appetite was peculiar to all killings in the country or those that affect Muslims.

@AbdulMahmud01: “He eats on days people are killed in southern Kaduna. Be flying the ethno- religious card, Pantami!”

@EI Juvante said: “The thought that the killers escaped, was enough to make him to lose his appetite! A heart filled with rage cannot offer peace to a nation filled with unease!”

@adeyanjudeji added: “Pantami said Buhari could not sleep well over some Muslim youths killed in Jos over the weekend but Buhari has slept peacefully as killer herdsmen killed thousands of people in Benue, Plateau & everywhere in the country for the past 6-years. You see why people call these guys bigots.”

@Dr_bello1 asks: “Bro, are they sleeping in the same house?”

@Monnyx4 says: “But he was eating when other killings took place. Is it what you want to tell Nigerians? So there are those to eat when they Die and those not to eat when they Die in the same Nigeria? When you people have nothing to say, just keep quiet.”
