Nigeria @62: There is still hope, says Senator Akinyelure

Akinyelure, in his Independent Day message to Nigerians in general and Ondo Central in particular, said: “What we need in this country at the moment is nothing but prayers.”

The Senator representing Ondo Central and Senate Committee Chairman on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions, Senator Ayo Akinyelure has urged Nigerians not to lose hope saying that there is hope for Nigeria to be great again.

According to him, the numerous challenges facing the country will soon be a thing of the past as Nigeria is destined to be great

Akinyelure, in his Independent Day message to Nigerians in general and Ondo Central in particular, said: “What we need in this country at the moment is nothing but prayers. I therefore urge our religious leaders not to relent in this regard.”

In an Independent Day message through his SA (Media & Strategy), Charles Akinwon and made available to some journalists in Abuja, the Senator further said, “If we get it right in 2023 by voting for right candidates to steer the ship of this nation, the country shall bounce back once again,”.

Akinyelure who showered encomium on President Muhammadu Buhari however said, “The President is trying his best but some of his Lieutenants have made things difficult for his administration.”

Akinyelure used the medium to felicitate with Nigeria and Nigerians and urged them to focus on God who knows what tomorrow holds for every individual. He equally advised our youths to shun thuggery before, during and after the forthcoming general election.
