Ajayi who led other executive members on the visit told Nasko that they were not only elated at his emergence as the candidate of the PDP, pledged to work together towards achieving success.

“We are happy that you emerged victorious at the party’s recently concluded gubernatorial primaries in Niger state and we pledge our total support and readiness to work assiduously with you for the success of the party in the 2019 general election”.

Ogunsola Ajayi also assured that members of association strongly believed that their interests and that of other non-natives across Niger state would be better served and protected with Mohammed Umar Nasko as governor.

Responding, Nasko said: “I assure you to carry you people along when I become governor. We will abolish the indigenes and non-indigenes dichotomy by ensuring equal treatment to all. All policies that have hindered your stay in this state will be removed”.

According to Nasko, “We will give the same education opportunities to every child in public schools and the issue of discriminatory school fees being paid will be looked into to remove such wrong policy that has caused more divisions among all of us in Niger state”.
