Netizens berates Asake after smashing fan’s iPhone in Germany

Asake during a recent concert, violently snatched the fan’s phone and smashed it on the floor, causing significant damage to it

Nigerians have trooped to social media to blast ace Afrobeats singer, Ahmed Ololade aka Asake after he smashed an iPhone 16 Pro Max belonging to a fan.

The ‘Lonely At The Top’ crooner recently performed at a sold out concert in Germany.

However, a video trending after the show revealed a moment the singer violently snatched a fan’s phone and smashed it on the floor, causing significant damage to it.

Sharing the video of the incident in a social media post, the fan named Adeoti said he tried to get a picture with Asake, but  he angrily broke his phone.

Captioning the video, he wrote, “@asakemusic You broke my iPhone 16 pro Max. It’s not because they pissed off inside the nightclub that you are going to react like that towards a fan. Anyway, I still love you.”

After the clip made the rounds on the Internet, it led to an outrage, with many slamming Asake for breaking the phone.

A netizen identified as @CuriousCourtnie wrote: “That was unnecessarily aggressive.”

Another internet user, @joseph_adegoke; “Aah he go buy another one i swear he will pay for what he didn’t buy.”

@princerollyajo added; “He is just a lucky agbero. I have no respect for the moron.”

@CHINONSOWISDO13 said, “omo forget say na asake oo, blood go flow aswear.. all this celebs too dey rude, well can’t happen to me tough, i go blow him left eye.”

While @Michaelmich_ed2 also wrote; “Asake na tràsh i just petty for people who used to follow him I don’t have that time.”

Asake has not publicly responded to the incident as of the time of this report.
