A Nigerian man identified as Olumide on microblogging platform, Twitter recently shared a romantic story of a long courtship between him and his heartthrob, which ended on a sweet note.
According to Olumide, after dating his woman for 11 years, he decided to pop up the “will you marry me question” to the love of his life and they walked down the aisle in 2022.
The couple who started dating in 2011, finally tied the knot and exchanged their marital vows at the Ikoyi marriage registry in Lagos State.

Olumide who posted a 2011 throwback photo of the duo on his Twitter page said they stayed loyal to each other during their humble beginning and despite the length of the relationship.
Sharing the nice photos, the young man wrote: “God is good. Officially off the streets and markets.”
Tweeps later joined in on the conversation, showering praises on the couple for staying true to each other despite their long courtship.
Others, however, expressed reservation for the claim that the relationship has been on since 2011, despite the throwback photos.
