Ned Nwoko refutes rumour of marrying another wife secretly

Businessman, Ned Nwoko frowned at using his name to gain traction on social media and warned that he would seek legal redress

Politician and husband to Nollywood actress, Ned Nwoko, has denied the rumour that he has secretly taken a new wife.

The billionaire businessman who is married to actress Regina Daniels, made this known via an Instagram post on Sunday, calling the story ‘fake news.

Ned Nwoko admonished the general public not to help propagate rumours and said he is man enough to own up to getting a new wife if he wanted one.

He wrote, “Ned Nwoko marries another wife; this is fake news and you shouldn’t help to propagate it. if I want to marry, it will not be done in secrecy,” 

The 62-year-old former lawmaker frowned at using his name to get traction on social media and warned that he would report such infractions to the appropriate authorities for necessary action.

He also said he would remain law-abiding in the course of getting justice,  adding that he should not be blamed when the law takes its course.  

“There is a particular group of little minded faceless individuals who believe they can gain followership in the social media by using my name to create sensational news every week.

“I will keep being law abiding and reporting the miscreants to the police for appropriate actions.

“When such misguided individuals are arrested, don’t accuse me of using the law against them,” he added.  

Ned Nwoko recently parted ways with his Moroccan wife, Laila Charani over allegations of infidelity.

He also got the popular aphrodisiac vendor,  Jaruma arrested over alleged defamation of character.

The aphrodisiac seller used to be his wife’s friend before they fell apart after a failed business deal.
