NBC warns broadcast stations to deactivate Twitter account

Broadcast stations have been asked to deactivate their Twitter handles, according to a new regulation by the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC).

A memo addressed to all broadcasters , signed by the NBC DG, Armstrong Idachaba, says it will be unpatriotic for radio and TV stations to continue patronizing g Twitter after the government ban.
