Suspended Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has dared Senate President, Godswill Akpabio to institute legal actions against her for alleging he tried to orchestrate her assassination and recall.
She issued the challenge on Thursday while featuring on popular Channels Television’s programme, ‘Politics Today’.
Natasha had prior to this alleged that the Senate President reached out to Kogi State governor, Usman Ododo and urged him to initiate her assassination and recall from the Senate.
She went on to claim that Ododo informed Akpabio that “it would be impossible because the masses are with her.”

She further alleged that when the plan failed to materialize, Akpabio shifted to former Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello and asked him to ensure her recall and assassination, with a promise to fund the processes.
“But Akpabio was not satisfied; he then called for Yahaya Bello. It was Senator Asuquo who drove Yahaya Bello to the Hiltons. I was informed,” Akpoti-Uduaghan said.
“The meeting was in two folds; he told him to commence my recall. He was going to fund it. Of course, money changed hands that day. The second thing was that he should kill me. Akpabio told Yahaya Bello to kill me,” she further claimed.
Natasha, however, added that she learnt that Nigeria’s number three citizen is planning to sue her for defamation.
She said: “I am hearing that the Senate President wants to sue me for that, I will tell him to go ahead. We will meet and cross that bridge.”
