“I have a very big heart. I do not give up on what I want to be. I am looking forward to going higher than what I achieved this year.

“My priority is to represent Nigeria at the Olympic Games or any of the major international championships. That is my dream and I will continue to work hard and train very well to achieve the dream.

“Sports and education work together, and I have to set my priorities right to achieve my set objectives, since education is the bedrock of life,” she said.

She urged other states to emulate Lagos in sponsoring similar competitions.
