Beatrice refuted the allegation that she went under the surgeon’s knife, saying her body is intact and had never been cut open

Big Brother Naija “Shine Ya Eye” edition ex-housemate, Beatrice Nwaji, popularly known as Beatrice has said she is planning to release a movie that will show all she went through in her short and abusive marriage.
The mother of one made this known in an interview with PUNCH, where she also bemoaned the fact that women in abusive marriages are scapegoated when they become single mothers.

When she was asked to describe her experience when her ex-husband started abusing her just three months into their marriage, she said she would want people to see that in a movie she is planning to release.
She said, “I would like to keep that to myself and rather tell whoever wants to know to watch out for my movie where all my struggles and success stories are told.”
On issues of how society treats single mothers and abusive marriages, she has this to say, “That is the lie society tells to control women into enduring abusive relationships. A lot of young men, who are well to do, want to be with me.”
The 29-year-old BBNaija star also spoke about cosmetic surgery saying she has nothing against it once the person has the needed funds and can face the challenges that come with it.
She went on to refute the allegation that she went under the surgeon’s knife, saying her body is intact and had never been cut open.
“I didn’t go under the knife. It is not as if surgery is bad. If you have the money and can stand the pain and side effects, you can do as you please with your body. But, it is very important to go to the right doctors. However, my body is 100 percent natural. I just make sure I keep fit. Sometimes, I sleep with waist trainers on.” Beatrice said.
She, however, corrected the impression that she discouraged students from taking their studies seriously, saying she only asked them not to stay idle and treat their schooling as side hustles giving the incessant strikes that have characterised our tertiary education system.
“I advised people to make schooling a ‘side hustle’ because of how often the Academic Staff Union of Universities goes on strike. I did not mean that school is not important. Education is very important but while one is schooling in Nigeria, one would do well to learn a trade.” she clarified
