Boma , one of the housemates of the Big Brother Nigeria Season 6 “Shine Ya Eye” edition , made it clear to his fellow housemates and fans of the show that he was married for 6 years but now divorced and single. He also said the marriage did not produce a child.
Thereafter , a lot of Nigerians have reached some conclusions on the marriage based on what they heard from him and his actions so far on the show.
While some felt the wife must have made the relationship unbearable for him, others have accused him of having violent tendencies, and suggested that it must have been responsible for the failure of the marriage.
In fairness to Boma , for most of the times he spoke about his failed marriage , he took responsibility for the break up and said he is in the house to learn and be a better person. He also said the lessons of his brake up would be a guide in his future marriage. He also told Pere that he is not getting younger and marriage will be a top priority once he leaves the house.
However, the way he handled his disagreement with Queen who was at a time romantically attracted to him, and his recent fight with Angel , who he had shared bed and a kiss with at the Executive Lounge of the house , leaves much to be desired , if truly he has learn a lot in dealing with the opposite sex. This is not to suggest , the women in question are free of blame in the debacles.
Recently, a short video surfaced on Instagram (IG), allegedly showing Boma’s ex-wife telling a show presenter that her experience during the 6 year relationship with him, remained the most torturing, brainwashing and manipulative in her life. That was about what all the clip said, and the take away from the video clip for some fans is that it’s an affirmation that Boma’s comportment so far on the show, does not give confidence that he can effectively handle a romantic relationship or marriage.
Boma for now does not have the right of response , since he is still in the show , but might be willing to shed more light on what his ex-wife said.
Public opinion , is however, divided on the matter on social media, as some fans of the show opined it justified their perception of Boma, as a man who cannot keep a home, others disagree with the timing of the video, and suggested it’s a well orchestrated job by his detractors, whose aimed is to tarnish his image and get him evicted on Sunday.
