Mutfwang whose election was recently affirmed by the Supreme Court also called for an end to the attacks

Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang has described the incessant attacks on people of his state as “acts of terrorism”, insisting that the security agencies know the sponsors and aggressors.
He made the claims on Friday when featuring on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme shortly after the Supreme Court affirmed his electoral victory in the March 18, 2023 gubernatorial election.
According to the governor, the security agencies have the capacity to fish out the perpetrators of the acts if they want to.

Mutfwang, who weighed in on the recent attacks in his state that left over 200 people killed while answering questions on other topics, also advised that the earlier the nation deals with these attacks, the better.
Speaking during the chat, the governor said: “What I can tell you about the killings in Plateau and the attacks in recent times is that they are pure acts of terrorism.
“I believe that the sponsors of the terrorists, the financiers of the terrorists and those who arm the terrorists are known.
“And the security agencies know them or they have the capacity to know them. And that is why we are insisting that the security agencies must do their work, which is to protect lives and properties.”
