Music journalism workshop entries close May 9

Entries for the MiNaija Workshop on Cultural Journalism/Music Writing will close on May 9.

 

Organised by Goethe-Institut in Nigeria ahead of its launch of Music in Nigeria (MiNaija), an online magazine in progress, it is for young music journalists.

The German cultural institute will select eight to 10 Nigerian journalists for the five-day workshop, which will take place daily from May 19 to 23.

The workshop will be facilitated by Florian Sievers, a journalist with German-based SPEX magazine and Edward Keazor, Regional Editor (Nigeria) for Music in Africa.

 

Deadline for submissions is Friday, May 9 and interested participants can find details at Goethe-Institut’s office in Lagos or online.
