Minister of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, has asked the 2023 Labour Party (LP) vice presidential candidate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed to offer an apology over his comments on Vice President Kashim Shettima.
She gave the advice on Wednesday night, while featuring on an Arise Television programme where she claimed the LP chieftain lied against the VP.
When asked to comment on the insinuation that President Bola Tinubu has reopened the VP slot ahead of 2027 during a TV interview a week ago, Datti Baba-Ahmed slammed Shettima and suggested that there are many unspoken truths about the former Borno State governor.
He went on to say Tinubu’s decision to leave the Vice president in the position demonstrated a rare patience.

He added that the president should not have allowed Shettima to remain in office as Vice President for this long.
Although he refrained from going into specifics, he stressed that anyone who knows what Shettima did will not even allow him to stay for long.
Reacting to Baba-Ahmed’s comments during her TV chat, Hannatu Musawa lambasted him and described his insinuations as dangerous.
“What was he trying to say? I didn’t understand what he was trying to say.
“He was making insinuations, very dangerous insinuations based on lies, and I think it’s a real shame. I think Datti needs to apologize to VP (Shettima),” she said.
