Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa has said he is not considering retiring from international football yet, insisting only the head coach, Jose Peseiro can stop him from playing for Nigeria.

Peseiro was widely criticised for adding Musa to his 23-man squad for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying double header against Guinea-Bissau.

“The coach who invited me knows better and as a patriotic Nigerian, I can’t decline my national team invitation after so much sacrifice.”
