Mrs. Funmi Falana, lawyer and mother of ace Nigerian rapper and thespian, Folarin Falana, better known as Falz, has sent the internet buzzing after requesting her son should marry a ‘born again’ Christain and prayed against the spirit of baby mamas.
The wife of prominent human right lawyer, Femi Falana, made this plea on Thursday, October 27, while praying for the singer on his 32nd birthday celebration.
In a now-viral video posted on the singer’s Instagram page, Falz’s mum wished him all round fulfillment and prayed for the gift of a good wife
She said, “I want a good and real wife, not a baby mama. Because I don’t want a baby mama, I want a born-again Christian”

In another clip posted on the rapper’s Instagram stories, Falz was seen dancing happily as his mother celebrated with him.
In the video, the elated mum hired trumpeters, drummers and a traditional praise singer who eulogized her son on his birthday.
After the post made the rounds on social media, Nigerians trooped to the comment section to air their views on her demand for a born-again wife from his son.
An IG user identified as Aroyal_declutter wrote, “Mothers and prayer points, happy birthday falz.”
Another netizen, Vivian_vadoo said, “is the no baby mama for me, well momma is not kidding, she’s very serious don’t disappoint her, happy birthday.”
The_demola added, “is Falz born again?”
Another internet user, Rhema_ye also said, “I love this prayer, happy birthday falz greater and greater things are spoken of you.”
While Portial_4real wrote, “Happy birthday @falzethebadguy hope you heard what mummy said, Born again Christian.”
