Mr Nigeria promises to impact lives of less privileged

-

Emmanuel Ikubese, winner of the 2014 edition of Mr Nigeria and the 1st Runner-up at the Mr World pageant, said he would use his position to assist the less privileged.

Ikubese told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Lagos that he had a clear objective even before the contest.

The 25-year-old actor also said that he would set up a foundation that would focus on rehabilitating the victims of domestic violence.

“In the next five years, I pray to have achieved a whole lot of stuff that I’ve always wanted to do.

“One of the things is having my own foundation which I would be putting in place before the end of this year.

“And then in the next five years, I hope to have touched as many lives as possible as I want to through my foundation.

“I always tell people money is not just money in the bank, money is actually what’s in your heart; it is what you actually have to offer to people.

“Sometimes, it’s not about giving people material cash; it’s about giving somebody something that they would hold on to.

“Inspire somebody that would actually take them to that place that they have always wanted to be; so, that’s the amount of money that I really want to drop in the lives of young people.“
