Mr Ibu also told Nigerians that he had been sick for a while and was admitted to the hospital

Nollywood actor, John Okafor, better known as Mr Ibu, has asked Nigerians to come to his aid as he battles to save one of his legs.
The veteran thespian made the plea on Wednesday via a video shared on his Instagram page, while in his hospital bed.
In the now viral clip, Mr Ibu told his fans that he has been battling the ailment for many weeks and has since then been on admission.

On the nature of his ailment, the actor explained that his doctors told him they might resort to cutting off his leg after he might have exhausted all his options.
Also confirming the development, his daughter, Jasmine Okafor, added that the actor isn’t getting better and has exhausted all his financial resources, hence the public appeal.
Jasmine went on to urge public spirited individuals to help fly Ibu abroad for better treatment.
Speaking in the video, Ibu wrote: “Dear Good people of Nigeria, we are counting on your support at these points we need it the most.”
