Mob attacks two Nigerians for protesting against Buhari in Kogi

-

Two young men were hounded, April 5, for protesting against President Muhammadu Buhari in Kogi.

The protesters who had scribbled graffiti of Buhari Must Go on a wall in Kogi, got mobbed by a crowd of young men, at least 20, who gave them some beatings while filming it.

The leader of the mob later lectured the protesters why they shouldn’t have protested in Kogi. He said since they were not from Kogi, they should not have come to the state to demand for the resignation of Buhari when they in Kogi are in love with the president. He then promised to deal with the protesters until those who sent them come for them.

Publisher of Sahara Reporters and an advocate of the Buhari Must Go protest, Omoyele Sowore, later tweeted the video of the incident with the post: “Last night these patriots were arrested by policemen attached to Gov. Yahaya Bello in Lokoja, they were taken to the state police command & detained, however this morning the commissioner of @policeng handed them over to Bello’s thugs for torture and humiliation.”
