His brothers, popularly known for their appearance on the “No Loose Guard” edition of Big Brother Naija, raised the alarm on Instagram, sharing his photos and urging the public to help find him.

Confirming his recovery in a statement on Thursday, the Command’s spokesperson, DSP Babaseyi Oluseyi, said police detectives traced him to the Mile 2 axis following useful tips from members of the public.

“The Lagos State Police Command wishes to inform the public that one Odera Gregory Mbadiwe, ‘m, aged 32, earlier reported missing and whose case went viral on social media, has been located by police detectives attached to the Lagos State Police Command today, 1st September 2025, at about 8:30 a.m.,” the statement read.

Oluseyi explained that Odera was reported missing by his family at the Victoria Island Police Division on September 3. He added that the missing man was found alive but distressed and has since been reunited with his relatives.

“Acting on actionable intelligence and with the support of public-spirited individuals, he was traced to the Mile 2 area of Lagos State, where he was found hale and hearty, though in a distressed state. He has since been reunited with his family and is receiving medical attention and proper care. In the course of the investigation, the vehicle was also recovered,” he said.
